The project is complete.

Beach fill operations were completed in mid-January 2022, and the Contractor’s demobilization process was completed by mid-February 2022. Likewise, post-construction monitoring surveys were conducted during that time.

Future activities will consist of monitoring for sea turtle nesting, shorebird activity, and the physical performance of the beach nourishment project. The next survey of the beach will occur this Summer (July 2022, est.), with annual beach monitoring surveys to occur thereafter in accordance
